Wax filters protect the hearing aid from contamination caused by cerumen (earwax) and moisture. The filters can usually be easily placed on the hearing aid and thus prevent contamination. For optimal protection, the filter should be replaced approximately every 2-3 weeks. The filter's mesh should always be clearly visible during this time. As soon as the mesh begins to become dirty, you should replace the filter to ensure proper sound transmission. The No Wax wax filter can be used for many different in-the-ear and behind-the-ear hearing aids.
