Widex CeruStop wax filter - accessories

Every external hearing aid receiver comes with a matching wax protection filter. Widex CeruStop is the appropriate wax filter for various Widex hearing aids.

The small filter prevents skin flakes or small dirt particles from penetrating the earpiece membrane.
By changing the filter regularly, you ensure that your hearing aids sound perfect and reduce the need for repairs. Filters should be changed approximately every four weeks. The fine grid of the filter should always be clearly visible during this time; otherwise, the interval may be shortened.

Signs that a change is necessary include a quieter sound from the hearing aid or even if you can see that the filter has closed.

User instructions:

• To change the filter, simply remove one of the rods.
• Use the "empty" side to pull the used filter straight out.
• Then simply insert the new filter on the other side of the rod and you're done!
