Widex TV-Play Bluetooth transmitter
TV-Play is a TV transmitter that transmits TV sound directly to your hearing aids, without the need for additional accessories or interfaces.
This transmitter can be used with the following hearing aid models:
- Widex Smart RIC
- Widex Magnify 100 and 50
- Widex Evoke Fusion 2
- Widex Evoke BTE 13 D
- Widex Enjoy Fusion 2 100
- Widex Enjoy 100 13 BTE D
- Widex Moment with Bluetooth coil (available from March 2021 - existing hearing aids will then need to receive a firmware update from your hearing care professional)
Simply connect the transmitter to your TV. Pairing with your hearing aids is easy via plug & play. For the first time, multiple Evoke Fusion2 wearers can share the transmitter. The new dual antenna system guarantees maximum transmission quality and provides a brilliant sound experience.
If you want to use multiple transmitters, they must be paired with your hearing aids regularly! Unfortunately, this doesn't happen automatically.
The Widex Evoke Fusion can be easily controlled via an app. This app also allows you to control the TV sound and volume. If, for example, you want the hearing aids' room microphones to remain active in addition to the TV broadcast, you can set this via the app.
Phone calls always have higher priority. So, when a call comes in through your hearing aids, the TV feed is automatically interrupted so you can talk on the phone without interruption. Once the phone call is over, the feed resumes.
If you leave the room during streaming, the transmission will be interrupted. When you return, the connection will be automatically re-established. The range of TV Play is approximately 8 to 10 meters. However, the range may be limited by structural conditions or other electrical devices.
As an alternative to the TV Play transmitter, the Widex TV Dex TV can also be used. The Evoke Fusion 2 hearing aids can also receive signals from this TV.
Please note: To use TV Play, you must use the app. You will need a smartphone (Android or iOS) and the app installed.
